Is it waterproof?

Yes, anti-slip tapes can be used outdoors, but need to be applied in dry conditions and best when temperature is 10 degrees or above. Ensure surface is clean and dry before application and use a primer on porous surfaces, such as concrete and stone.

Hi, Can this be used on timber decking treads? and will it require the primer first? Thanks

Primer will always improve the longevity of the product on porous / untreated surfaces such as timber, concrete etc. If the timber is not sound of quality, already damp or subject to rising damp from below, then the moisture would affect the adhesive and you wouldn't get an acceptable result. Use of a GRP strip, sheet or nosing would give a better result on decking treads.
