Does the clear 100mm wide anti slip tape need a primer before fixing to a marble/ shiny surface?

Probably not, primer is used to help seal a porous surface, so if the floor is smooth and shiny, it won't need to be primed in this situation

Can this be used on a shower tray, will it stay put?

Our aqua tape 06-0252 is suitable for barefoot areas, the anti-slip tape is coarse and has a grit finish which isn't suitable for your suggested application

Is this tape suitable for internal engineered wood stairs?

Assuming the stairs are smooth and dry, then anti-slip tape will OK, if the wood is sealed, perhaps varnished etc, then this would improve adhesion. Porous or dusty finished surfaces are best primed or sealed to get the best possbile adhesion. And, we'd always recommend testing a small section for suitability, before completing any project in full.
