Can the anti slip tape be used on a railway sleeper?

Not really suitable to apply to a sleeper, too uneven and often full of diesel and preservatives. A GRP strip, search for our code 06-0279 might be better suited - this could be rebated to sit flush with the surface of the sleeper and improve grip.

Can this be used on timber decking?

Not ideal for decking, due to the grooves usually cut in the decking. The product can be used on timber, but the timber needs to be sound, dry and smooth. It works better on painted / sealed surfaces, when the risk of moisture reaching the the adhesive from beneath the timber is reduced. If the timber is already damp, then you won't get a good result. Best to always test, before conducting any large scale installation, but the GRP strips
